  1. looks tasty, but I am always a little sad when a good looking pasta salad uses bottled dressing. I like to see recipes for the dressing, as I don’t always plan ahead and like to be able to throw something together at home.

    1. Thanks for your comment Regina, the recipes on Lovefoodies are there to inspire and encourage people to be creative. This recipe, along with the majority of others can either be followed rigidly or used as a guide and you can add or omit any ingredients in this salad and make it to your liking. We will never be able to please 100% of people with any single recipe, but for convenience, inspiration and guidance, this is a good salad of which, if you are confident in your cooking skills, you can build on as you so wish!

      1. Absolutely. I only mention this because I have been in search of a good home-made dressing for pasta salad specifically, but so far all the recipes I’ve found have suggested using bottled dressing, or a seasoning packet.

    1. Haha! Yes Gina, it most likely is! Karren makes this salad often and changes some of the ingredients for variety, which means it’s like a new salad every time! (keeps her family interested!!)
