Here we have a great way to make Nutty Broccoli Slaw and a perfect side to any meal.

The ingredients for this easy salad recipe are a delicious combination, adding flavor, texture, color and together with the cider vinegar dressing, this salad tastes amazing!

The recipe itself is easy, and only takes minutes to make, and if you're planning on taking this to a party, pot luck, BBQ etc, we suggest you make up the dressing in a container, and simply add it to the salad just before serving.

Ingredients

1 pkg. (3 oz.) Chicken Ramen Noodles
1 pkg. (16 oz.) Broccoli Slaw Mix
2 bunches Spring Onions / Scallions
1 & ½ Cups or 230 g broccoli florets (bite size pcs.)
1 can (6 oz.) ripe (black) olives, drained well, and halved
1 Cup or 100 g Sunflower kernels, toasted (be careful not to burn)
½ Cup or 50 g slivered almonds, toasted

The Dressing

½ Cup or 100 g Sugar
½ Cup or 120 ml cider vinegar
½ Cup or 120 ml olive oil
The packet of seasoning from the Ramen Noodles

Instructions

1. Set aside the seasoning packet from the noodles. Then crush the noodles into small pieces.

2. Add the noodles in a bowl, the slaw mix, onions, broccoli florets, olives, sunflower kernels, and almonds.

3. Make the dressing by adding all the dressing ingredients to a jar with a tight lid. SHAKE WELL until the sugar has dissolved.

Drizzle over the salad, and toss really well. You can adjust to your tastes, but this works the best for us folks...Serve right away for crunch. Enjoy!
