Patti
says:Can I use red or green dried lentils? Any diff?
Lovefoodies
says:Hi Patti, use whichever you prefer. It will always be tasty!
Happy new year to you!
Melody
says:How did you cook the lentils?
Kristin
says:Are the lentils canned? What makes up the sauce looking part of the recipe?
Lovefoodies
says:Hi Kristin, you can use dried or canned lentils. Obviously if you use dried, you will need to soak and cook them first. As for the sauce, there is not a lot of sauce, what you see in the photos is the caramelization from the onions and butter. The onions will give off some liquid during cooking. Hope that helps!
