Ingredients

This recipe is best made in smaller servings for 2-3 but can be doubled. Also, gauge about ½ to ¾ pound of medium shrimp per person.

2+ Lbs medium shrimp (peeled and deveined)
1 teaspoon Lobster base (or make your own base using the shells etc.)
1 Lb mushrooms sliced
1-2 sticks butter*
½ cup scallions chopped
¼ teaspoon salt
3-5 cloves fresh minced garlic
Red, White & Black pepper to taste
½ teaspoon celery salt
1 teaspoon dried sweet basil
½ teaspoon dried thyme powdered or leaves
½ teaspoon oregano powdered or leaves
3 tablespoons dried parsley

*if you’re serving for more than 2, I add the 2nd stick of butter as this extra sauce along with the crusty bread makes your meal go a little farther.

Instructions

1. Cook rice or pasta while this dish is cooking, or pre-cook and set aside as this only takes about 10 minutes to prepare.

2. In a large skillet on medium heat, melt 1 stick of the butter. Add the sliced mushrooms, celery salt, 1 tablespoon parsley and a dash of the salt and peppers. Add the scallions/shallots/green onions and the minced garlic. Stirring frequently until lightly browned.

3. Add the remainder of the spices and the Lobster Base and the shrimp. Continue to cook over medium heat until shrimp turn pink.

Serve over hot rice with lots of French Bread for dipping into this spicy butter. Enjoy.

You can also make up or easy garlic butter sauce for seafood, which you can combine with the shrimp or add to the pasta. Absolutely delicious and easy to make too!
