Ingredients

5 lbs Butt Ham - cut recommended by Peggy is Butt Ham
16 oz / 450 g can of sliced pineapples use the juice as well
8oz / 225 g jar of sweet cherries maraschino
¼ cup / 85 g of honey with lavender or Plain Clover honey. Either will give you a wonderful flavour
1 tsp of Chinese 5 spice
3 whole cloves
¼ cup/ 85 g of maple syrup

I cooked my yellow potatoes with the ham for the 5 hours they are candied as well.

Instructions

1. Add all the ingredients to the crockpot and cook on low for 5 hours.

2. When the ham is ready, to make the gravy, take all the juices and add to saucepan.

Use 2 TBS of cornstarch and 1 cup (240 ml) of cold water to make a thickening agent. Add to saucepan and let boil and thicken, pour over your ham dinner and you will be very happy!
