What can I serve with this French toast?

Here is my basic recipe, and you can add sugar, whipped cream, syrup, fresh fruits, honey, whip up some yogurt, or whatever you fancy!

You can cook in a nonstick pan with no oil or you can add butter. You can make this as diet-friendly or as indulgent as you like.

    1. Hi Mary Lou, make sure you beat the eggs with a fork so there’s lots of bubbles and let the bread slices soak long enough so the egg has almost disappeared into the bread. Then put them in a hot pan. If the pan isn’t hot enough to start with, the slices are less likely to fluff up!
      Hope that helps 😀

  1. This is how I cook mine too. Although I cut each slice into strips, so like 4 strips per slice. This allows for more surface area to get crispy. I also cook mine a little Kong’s than your picture, this allows the browner areas to create more sugar flavor. I’ve also found that any bread is good, especially artisan, although I have found that bread that has just become stale is actually very delicious. Let me know what you think!
