Here we have a great way to make Autumn Soup and as you've probably guessed it, Nanny's whole family from hubby down to grandkids all love her soup!

Ingredients

l lb. Hamburger meat
1 Cup chopped onion
3 Cup water
1 Cup cut-up carrots
1 Cup diced celery (not small)
1 Cup cubed potatoes
2 tsp. Salt (or to taste)
¼ tsp. pepper
1 tsp. gravy master / Gravy Browning
1 tsp. basil
1 bay leaf
1 (28 oz.) can Peeled Tomatoes (I use the whole, but crush them up w/ hands, or use whatever ones you prefer).

Instructions

1. In a large saucepan cook & stir meat until brown, and drain off fat.

2. Stir in all ingredients. Heat to boiling, and then reduce heat & simmer for 1 hr.

3. I like to serve with crusty rolls or even Dumplings, if you like. You can double, triple or make as much or little as you like!

* Gravy Master is a Seasoning (liquid) & Browning Sauce that comes in a 5 oz. bottle.
