This is a wonderful dessert, perfect for any time of year, and as you can see from the photos, I made this during the summer for an outdoor dessert.

Dreamy Chocolate Trifle. A great easy recipe, made from scratch or option to make from instant. Come and see the goodies in this lovely chilled dessert! (Brownie lovers beware!!)

It's a very easy dessert to put together, and is made up of layers of Oh So Good Brownies, creamy chocolate pudding and topped off with some whipped cream.

This dreamy chocolate trifle is a very pleasing dessert, which you can make ahead of time.

It's best served nice and chilled, try to allow an overnight chill so all the flavors develop and infuse into the brownies.

If you like Irish Cream or Kahlua you could also put a dash of it in the whipped cream and the brownies. That also tastes very good!

I have made this recipe completely from scratch, using some of my other recipes, but I will give you two options below, one for completely from scratch and one to make using ready bought ingredients.

I would, of course, recommend you try the from scratch version first as homemade is always better, but if you're pushed for time or don't feel confident, then you can choose which parts to make and which parts to have ready made!

Please do enjoy our Dreamy Chocolate Trifle and happy cooking!

4. Use a spoon and pour half of the pudding mix over the top of the brownies.

Try to get the pudding in between all the gaps.

Add the remaining half of the brownie cubes, distributing evenly, then half of the remaining whipped cream (the rest is used for the topping), then the remaining chocolate pudding.

Finish off with the remaining whipped cream or cool whip.

You can either pipe it on top or simply spread it.
