When I first saw this Chocolate Irish Cream Brownie Trifle Pie made by our foodie Peggy Mitchell I thought it was awesome!
I had to ask Peggy immediately for her recipe as I knew it would be a good one.
Peggy is a great cook, and baker. Always making cakes for friends and families, and this is just one of many desserts that she can make! So let's see how to make this delicious pie.

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 25 minutes for brownies.

CHILL time should be minimum 4 hours.
Yield: 6 - 8 Persons
You will need: 8 inch pie dish & a 9 inch greased square pan for the brownies.
This recipe consists of a base, a filling, a topping and a brownie cake which is used in both the filling and the topping. The only baking you need to do is for the brownies.
Ingredients
The base
2 cups / 230 g of graham cracker crumbs
3 TBS, butter,
1 TBS of granulated sugar
The Filling
8 ozs / 225 g of cream cheese,
½ cup / 100 g of sugar,
⅓ cup/ 30 g of cocoa powder..
1 large chocolate candy bar of your choice (leave a chunk of it for decorating the top)
Extra chocolate pieces of your choice
a ¼ cup / 60 ml of milk
4 TBS of Hot fudge
3 TBS Irish Crème Liquor
The Topping
1 cup / 240 ml of heavy cream,
1 TBS of Confectionary sugar
2 TBS of Irish Crème Liquor
Irish Crème Brownies for the filling & topping
½ cup / 100 g melted butter
1 TBS of Irish Crème liquor
½ cup / 60 g all purpose flour
¼ tsp of baking powder
1 cup / 200 g of granulated sugar
2 eggs
⅓ cup / 40 g unsweetened cocoa powder
¼ tsp salt
Instructions
Make the base:
Melt butter and add to the graham crackers & sugar. Mix well and finely pack the mix into the pie dish and up the sides.
Make the filling:
1. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar and cocoa powder. Blend well.
2. Melt 1 large chocolate candy bar of your choice with a ¼ cup of milk and combine.
3. I added 4 TBS of Hot fudge to the mix for an extra kick.
4. Let chill for 1 hour
Make the Irish Cream Brownies:
1. Mix all the brownie ingredients to incorporate, then add to a greased 9 inch square pan
2. Bake for 20-25 mins at 350 F / 180 C / Gas 4
When cooled chunk up and add to a layer in between layers of your pudding mix. Reserve some for your garnish.
To make the topping:
In a mixer add the cream, confectioners sugar & Irish cream liqueur and whip. Add on top of the chocolate layer and take another chunk of candy bar and grind over the top of the pie as well as shreds of chocolate pieces of your choice. Garnish with bites of brownie, dusting of your favorite chocolate bar ( I chose mint for it’s a Irish crème pie, and toffee bites).
