Nanny Pat has made some of her Delicious Scotcheroos to share with us all. Nanny tells me she has been making these since she was a teenager and often takes a batch when the family come home for visits. They're always a hit and so popular, so now it's time for nanny to share her recipe with us!
Recipe by Pat Milton

Ingredients

1 Cup granulated sugar
1 Cup light corn syrup ** It should be the light and not dark color syrup. If you can't get it, maple syrup is also good.

⅔ Cup Chocolate morsels (semi-sweet)
⅔ Cup Butterscotch morsels

Instructions

1. In a large pan over a medium heat, add the sugar and corn syrup until it comes to a boil. Then remove from heat then stir in the peanut butter and rice krispies until all combined.

  1. Favorite! I just made these yesterday and brought them to work. My Co workers said I have perfected the recipe. I use 1 1/2 cups each of sugar and corn syrup, and 2 1/2 cups of peanut butter and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Then add Rice Krispies so they are still gooey. 1/2 bag each of the chips. Delish!

  2. My mom has been making these for YEARS since she found the recipe on the back of a Kellogg’s Rice Crispies box. They are great! She used to make many batches around the Holidays and give them to friends and neighbors. Everyone loves them!

  3. Thank you for getting in touch with me. What I was trying to retrieve was Jessica’s Kitchen White Chocolate Peppermint Bark. I do not know how to find a recipe after I’ve moved to another screen.

      1. DUH!! how stupid do I feel…did not realize that was a print button…thanks for the help…I so want to make these…
