Here, Cathy's Caramel Snack Mix just looks wonderful! Cathy suggests making a HUGE bucket full and taking it along to your tailgate party for sharing...or keeping all for yourself!
This also freezes very well, just pop what you want in a zip lock bag and take some out as and when you wish!

Ingredients you will need
- butter or margarine
- white corn syrup
- honey
- packed brown sugar
- crispy corn or rice squares (Chex is gluten free)
- add-ins (nuts, raisins, pretzels)

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 275 F / 140 C / gas 1. Spray a large roasting pan with non-stick cooking spray. (The larger the better for less mess when stirring.)

2. In a medium-size microwave-safe bowl (I use a 4-cup Pyrex measuring cup for ease of drizzling), mix butter, corn syrup, honey, and brown sugar. Cook in the microwave for approximately 2 minutes until butter melts. Stir well to incorporate all ingredients.
3. Place cereal and nuts into the roasting pan. Drizzle the caramel mixture over the cereal and nuts and mix gently but thoroughly until everything is coated.
4. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
Turn out onto a large waxpaper-covered counter or tabletop. Stir often while it cools.

- ¾ cup or 245 g white corn syrup
- ¼ cup or 80 g honey
- 1 cup or 200 g packed brown sugar
- 12 ounces or 340 g crispy corn or rice squares, Chex is gluten free
- 2 cups or 400 g add-ins (nuts, raisins, pretzels)
