says:Why would you say to use a bundt pan if you haven’t tried this recipe in a bundt pan?????? I wish I read the comments before just putting it in the oven in the bundt pan
Lovefoodies
says:Hi Caitlin, for any cakes, it is possible to use any pan you wish, whether it be a bundt, cupcake, loaf, mini cake pan etc. the only difference will come to the bake time which will obviously need adjusting. There is not too much difference between using a full loaf or a bundt pan, apart from maybe 10 minutes or so less cook time. So whilst we don’t try every pan possible for every recipe, we do offer suggestions for other pans simply because some people prefer using a bundt or do not have a loaf pan. The ingredients and ratios all stay the same no matter which pan you choose. Hope that helps!
Stephanie
says:I’m going to try this but with half the sugar…maybe 3/4 cup and little more vanilla. Most recipes seem over the top sweet to me.
Sue
says:How long would it take with using a bundt pan? Also, if for a BD would you use frostig?
Lovefoodies
says:Hi Sue, thanks for writing in. So far, we haven’t had any reports back of trying this in a bundt pan, however, I suggest you follow this recipe here for bake time and oven temperature as we know for sure it works! https://lovefoodies.com/nannys-chocolate-fudge-brownie-cake.html .
As far as frosting goes, I think your idea to frost would make it very special, especially as it’s for a birthday so Yes! Go with your favorite frosting too. It will be fabulous!
Thanks for writing in and have a lovely week!

says:If you don’t have plain yogurt, could you substitute regular sour cream in this recipe?
lovefoodies
says:Hi Marsha, I haven’t tried it myself with the sour cream but I am pretty sure it would work well, so I say give it a go! It will be delicious anyway! Please do pop back and let us know how it goes.
