We have used various-size pans to make this recipe. If you are using a smaller sized pan, for example, if you want a deeper cheesecake, use a 6-inch deep round pan and then your filling will be deeper.

INGREDIENTS

The Base:

1 package Oreo crushed Cookies
¼ Cup or 55 g Melted Butter

The Filling:

8 oz or 225 g Cream cheese, room temperature
7 fl oz or 200 ml Whipping cream
10 Oreo cookies crushed and cookies for garnish
1 - 2 Tablespoons Icing sugar / powdered sugar - add to your taste for sweetness

INSTRUCTIONS

For Crust

1. Crush the Oreo cookie crumbs in a food processor or in a bag with a rolling pin.

2.  Melt butter and add to the cookie crumbs and combine with a fork.

3. Put the mixture in a 6 to 8-inch loose bottom pan and leave in the fridge.

Make the Filling

4. Add the icing / powdered sugar to the cream and whip up until just stiff. Crush the 10 Oreo cookies. I just put them in a bag and bash them with a rolling pin.

5. Add the cream cheese and mix in well. Add your crushed Oreo cookies and mix in gently with a spoon.

6. Add the filling and use a spatula and carefully smooth the surface of the mixture.

7. Place in the fridge for 4 hours MINIMUM.

When ready to serve you can decorate the top with the remaining cookies.

me and my sister made this and i recommend putting all the sugar u have in it so that it tastes yummy. we didn’t try it yet because it’s not hard so we put it in the freezer. also the cream cheese went everywhere but we cleaned it up before mom could come home and spank us. we also thought it was not a good idea to use graham crackers in OREO cheesecake so we used two sleeves of oreos instead. another tip is to put chocolate sauce in the filling to make it chocolate. we also made a shape out of chocolate sauce to top it off. oh and plus more oreos. overall it was a pretty epic thing to make to show mom that we can actually be productive.
