Peggy loves using her crock pot! She’s always coming up with great flavours for her dinners and Peggy’s Slow Cooked Moroccan Chicken is no exception.
It’s full of flavour, the chicken is so tender and perfectly cooked. Served as Peggy has done here, with some pasta. This is a family favourite!

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 4 1/2 – 5 hrs
Yield: 4 – 6 Persons
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup lemon juice and zest of half a lemon
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp of turmeric
1/2 tsp cinnamon
3 lbs of chicken here I used only breast but best if you use dark meat as well for sweetness
2 tsp minced garlic
1 small onion minced
1/2 cup sliced green olives
1/2 cup sliced black olives
1. Place lemon juice and water in crock pot with all your spices then add your chicken of choice and top with garlic, onions and olives.
2. Cook on high in crockpot for 4 1/2 to 5 hours
