4Onions chopped
3Tbsveg oil
2Tbstomato paste
2Tbsground paprika
1tspground pepper
1tspground caraway
235ml/ 1 cup Red wine
570ml/ 2 ½ cups meat stock
2bell peppers chopped
Chopped carrots or any other fresh vegetables you like.
4Tbssoured cream.
Instructions
Heat oil and lightly brown meat. Add onions and cook until soft. Add tomato paste , paprika , caraway , wine and stock. Stir well and simmer for at least 1 ½ hours.
** If you wish to use your slow cooker, place everything now and cook on LOW for 4 hours.
Add peppers and more stock if needed. Simmer for another 30 mins. Season to taste. Serve with soured cream.
