16oz/ 450 g can of sliced pineapples use the juice as well
8oz/ 225 g jar of sweet cherries maraschino
¼cup/ 85 g of honey with lavender or Plain Clover honey. Either will give you a wonderful flavour
1tspof Chinese 5 spice
3cloveswhole
¼cup/ 85 g of maple syrup
Instructions
Add all the ingredients to the crock pot and cook on low for 5 hours.
When the ham is ready, to make the gravy, take all the juices and add to sauce pan.
Use 2 TBS of cornstarch and 1 cup (240 ml) of cold water to make thickening agent. Add to sauce pan and let boil and thicken, pour over your ham dinner and you will be very happy!
