½ozBottle Cinnamon Oil Flavor1 bottle is .125 fl or 1 fl dram in size
In a bowl put ½ bottle of the cinnamon flavoring, squirted in some red food coloring (about ⅛ teaspoon) and about 2 Tablespoons warm water. Stir until blended.
Slowly add some of the powdered gum paste stirring to prevent lumps. Add the rest of the mix. It will be dry. Slowly add another 2 Tablespoons of warm water, stirring each time until it reaches a stiff dough. The dough should be very stiff. Knead with your fingers into a smooth dough on a powdered sugar surface. The dough shouldn't be sticky. If it's sticky add a little more powdered sugar.
Roll out to ¼" thickness on a surface dusted with powdered sugar.
Using a large knife cut into equal squares.
Place onto a wax paper and powdered sugar covered plate. Keep the mints separated to allow air to circulate. Let dry at room temperature several days. Place in airtight tin or box
