Easy Tiramisu. A very simple recipe with great results! Also egg free.

  • 8 oz cream cheese room temp
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 packet of ladyfinger biscuits
  • 3 tbs instant expresso or coffee powder
  • 3 tbs Kahlua or Tia Maria liqueur optional coffee liquor
  • Cocoa powder for dusting
  • Grated chocolate
  1. In a bowl dissolve instant coffee with 3 tbs boiling water and add 1 1/2 cups cold water. Add liqueur.
  2. Beat cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. In another bowl beat heavy cream then fold in cream cheese mixture.
  4. Using a 12 inch x 8 inch dish, dip the biscuits quickly in and out of the coffee and place closely together on the bottom of the dish. Spread half the cream-cheese mixture on top and repeat with remaining biscuits and top with the rest of cream- cheese.
  5. Refrigerate cover up for at least 6 hours or a day.
  6. Dust with cocoa powder and grated chocolate before serving.
