1Cuplight corn syrup ** It should be the light and not dark color syrup. If you can't get itmaple syrup is also good.
1Cupcreamy peanut butter
6CupsRice Krispiesdry cereal
⅔CupChocolate morselssemi-sweet
⅔CupButterscotch morsels
Instructions
In a large pan over a medium heat, add the sugar and corn syrup until it comes to a boil. Then remove from heat then stir in the peanut butter and rice krispies until all combined.
Spread in a greased 13 x 9 inch bake tray, pressing the mixture down lightly and evenly.
In a microwave safe bowl, or glass measuring cup, melt the chocolate morsels and butterscotch morsels, for about 1 ½ minutes.Stir well, and pour over the Rice Krispie mixture in pan. Cover the pan and refrigerate for at least 25 - 30 minutes before cutting in to squares.
Nanny's Notes:
If you would like a thicker layer of chocolate, do 1 cup each of chocolate and butterscotch morsels.
