  • 20 oz / 560 g can pineapple slices
  • 2 oz /55 g cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup / 75 g butter flavored Crisco
  • 5.1 oz Packet vanilla or banana pudding
  • 1 banana
  • light brown sugar
  • 18.25 oz box white cake mix
  • 4 whole large eggs
  1. In mixer place cake mix, pudding, crisco, cream cheese and pineapple juice from the pineapple slices and eggs. Mix until smooth.
  2. In a 9x9 stone pan put the pineapple slices on the bottom.
  3. In the center of each pineapple place a slice of banana.
  4. Over top sprinkle the brown sugar.There will be a little extra pineapple juice left in can drizzle that over the brown sugar.
  5. Cook at 350 F / 180 C / Gas 4 for 30 to 45 minutes. Test to make sure it is done with a toothpick or sharp knife. If the toothpick or knife comes out clean the cake is done.Set aside and let cool and then serve.
  6. To keep the top of the cake from burning you may have to place some foil over the top of it.
