How to make Homemade Yogurt. A very easy guide to making your own yogurt and flexible with so many uses, from breakfasts, baking, desserts, marinades and many savory recipes. Or simply enjoy on it's own with some fresh fruit!

This delicious recipe has been generously shared by one of our Lovefoodies supporters, Cathy Kopp

Here, Cathy shows us how she makes her own homemade yogurt. It's an easy recipe, although it takes a little time before you see the results, Cathy tells us it's worth the wait! Of course you can use yogurt in many things, as a breakfast, marinade, in salads....the sky's the limit.

One of the many benefits is that you control what goes in to making the yogurt, so there are no additives and you can also change the flavours if you wish. In the photo below, Cathy made Homemade yogurt, pecan granola, layered with honey, blueberries, and strawberries and of course Cathy says it is delicious!

Notes:

1. It keeps for about 3-4 weeks in the fridge.
2. It freezes well, but divides some and gets lumpy, so it must be whisked well after thawing.
3. When you get to the last container, it can be used as starter for the next batch.
