Crockpot Luau Ham. This is so easy and absolutely delicious!
When I saw Peggy’s recipe for her crockpot Luau Ham I had to ask her what inspired her to make up these delicious flavours, and also the nickname she has given to this lovely recipe…here’s what Peggy said:
Hoola Hooping Luau Ham – Reminds me of a Luau, with a pig roast, veggies and sweet ham
Recipe from Peggy Mitchell
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 7 hrs
Yield: 4 – 6 Persons
5 lbs Butt Ham – cut recommended by Peggy is Butt Ham
1 can 5.5 oz / 160 ml of pineapple juice
2 TBS of apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup / 120 ml Canola oil
1 tsp of garlic powder
1 tsp of onion powder
1/4 cup / 50 g of brown sugar
I added my carrots right in with the ham to have them candied as well.
Add all the ingredients to the crock pot and cook on low for 7 hours. It tastes amazing and the gravy is so yum!
And there you have Crockpot Luau Ham. How easy is that?!
